Well, after having an awesome Patriotic room, the boys were getting a little tired of the same things on their walls because they kept pulling down all the decals, curtains and flag- literally all 3 were on the ground at the same point of time after being pulled down numerous times before and I decided it was time for a change.

Baby Shower Gift Guide
I feel like everyone I know is pregnant right now! I can't keep them all straight. It's so fun to buy baby shower gifts because I feel like you just need anything and everything when having a baby...however, I also think new moms feel overwhelmed by all the stuff they get and aren't sure what they really need.
I am partnering with Baby Cubby today to give you some ideas and help when it comes to preparing for a new baby.

1. Stride Rite shoes
1. Stride Rite shoes
Stride Rite is always coming up with creative and innovative ideas for kids shoes! First we tried the Snoot (sneaker and snow boot combined) and they have been SO awesome for Macsen. The newest thing now is the Phibian Sneaker Sandal. These can be used as sandals, play shoes, and even dressed up a little...They are comfortable and Jensen loves them.

When we went to San Diego he could have spent the whole trip at the beach. This boy is going to be a beach bum when he grows up I just know it haha!

Easter Spring Photoshoot
I hope you all had a wonderful Easter Sunday yesterday! My new favorite thing lately is setting up cute little photo shoots with my kids on the holidays. I never do anything crazy- but if I look for ideas online I can always find some really cute and simple ideas and I literally only spend 10 minutes with the kids to get lots of cute pictures. Here are some simple ideas if you want to do a Spring Photoshoot with your kids:

Easiest Blackout Curtains for $15!
After having 3 kids and Allie starting school early in the morning my kids bedtime became VERY important to me! Haha! Allie and I used to stay up til 1am sometimes when my husband was working full time AND in school full time just so we could see him. After Macsen came along bedtime was still pretty late- around 9/10pm. It makes me laugh to say that my kids are now rarely out of their beds later than 8 and I usually get them in their beds at 7! It is AWESOME and keeps me sane, but when the sun starts hanging around later it created a little bit of a problem- that is, until I made their black out curtains.

Traveling with the Yezz Stroller
Traveling with kids can be stressful enough, it doesn't help to have too many things and a difficult stroller. This is where the Quinny Yezz stroller can come in and make things easier for you.
If you are looking for a durable version of an umbrella stroller that will last you through multiple kids and that rides much smoother and easier through more rugged terrain, you may be interested in the Yezz stroller from Quinny. The Yezz is more balanced and a little heavier than the typical umbrella stroller so it doesn't tip over constantly (one of my pet peeves)

My 3 Fave Kids Hair and Skin Products
I always say it's a good thing I only have one girl because I am really not good at doing my kids' hair. They have all hated getting their hair washed and brushed and it is such a pain! I really dread doing it. I wish I would have found these years ago, so if you struggle like I do, don't wait to try some of these!!
1. SoCozy Professional Hair Collection for Kids
I have been using the Styling Cream and Styling Gel for Macsen and the Detangling Spray for Allie and I love them all! They all smell really good and the Styling Gel and Cream aren't really sticky and gross like other ones I've tried.

Burt's Bees Spring Line
I am super excited to share some of my favorite pieces from Burt's Bees Baby Spring line this year. They sent me a few things that my boys have been wearing non-stop lately, but I also got a few pieces that it hasn't been warm enough for here in Utah- I will have to update you on those later...
My boys have been living in these drawstring pants and zip front jackets. The sleeves and legs are plenty long (I hate when their little wrists and ankles are exposed to the cold so I love these) They are also super soft and warm- just the right temp for our mild end of winter this year.

DIY Cupcake Onesie Tutorial
I really love gifts that are packaged nicely and put together in a cute way. So, naturally, I fell in love with the cupcake onesie idea on Pinterest and had to try it myself. Personally I would love to get a gift like this- especially since I always need onesies and socks! :)
Here is my version:
Here is my version:
I found the onesies and socks at my local Wal-mart, the cupcake box and cups came from Wholeport, and I already had the ribbon!
Total cost of a super cute baby gift: $10
(if you buy the ribbon)

Allie & Baby Girl?
So, the top floor of our house has 3 bedrooms, and we are trying to figure out where we will put the baby. There are 3 possible solutions: Allie & baby girl together, Macsen & baby boy together, or Allie & Macsen together. I have been looking at ideas of what I would do in each scenario, and today I want to share the ideas I have for Allie & baby girl in one room. They would be in the bigger room (blue-gray walls, and I DO NOT want to change any paint!) Here are my ideas:
Purple accents and lots of white:

Mom Stuff
Lately I have been thinking about all the things that just help out when you are a mom. Raising kids is HARD! I have thought of a few things that I love to have, and want to get some of your opinions on what you love...so here it goes:
1. A cute and easy-to-carry bag
I like ones that are open and really easy to get into. I also like ones that don't look like diaper bags, or that aren't diaper bags. They also need to be easy to clean and the straps need to be the right length and ones that will stay on your shoulder easily.
This cute one found here
