Beautifully said and delivered...Its something that hubby and always remind ourselves..every time we wish we would have a string of good luck or fortune...we remind ourselves that everything that really matters to us ....we have..and is more precious than any want or need ..we wish or desire for. x

Had to let you know that this post made me do a double take...I'm 22 and in the middle of trying to make a decision about whether to go back to school (for nursing) and have my husband and I continue to live under our parent's roofs' or to work and have us get our own place. One of my biggest factors is money (I would make more money as a nurse...but would I be rich? would I be happy?) Thanks for this post.

Aww, that is so sweet! I think having a beautiful daughter & the skill to be frugal is great trade-off for fancy shoes and diamond rings :)

I posted some new pictures of the puppy for Allie!

So funny...I woke up thinking about this same thought. Somedays I feel like I have a list of wants that goes FOREVER, but really I am happy with what I have. Although...a little money for me wouldn't hurt - every now and then!!!

Wouldn't it be fun? I agree though, being a mom is better than anything. Even new clothes.

I have a similar theme someday I want to be famous - not like a movie star but someone whose work is well-known and respected - but I too have what I want - I am famous to my girls...

Thank you for this post. What a great reminder that things don't make us happy...our family does. And I totally agree that being a mom makes us "rich" in so many ways! Great post!!!
