How many of you would love to make your kids some cute shirts but don't like/know how to sew?  Here's a simple and fun solution:

I found this applique shop on etsy a while ago when I was looking for some cute shirts for Allie.  It is called DIY Appliques.

CREATING APPLIQUES SPEAKS TO MY "INNER CHILD" AS IT REMINDS ME OF CUTTING OUT PAPER DOLLS.  I DESIGN AND HAND-MAKE ALL THE APPLIQUES IN MY STUDIO AT HOME.   

FROM PAST EXPERIENCE ,I HAVE REALIZED THAT MOST CUSTOMERS "WANT IT YESTERDAY" SO I CREATE A QUANTITY OF EACH APPLIQUE WHICH ALLOWS ME TO OFFER NEXT DAY SHIPPING. I CAN'T GIVE IT TO THEM "YESTERDAY" BUT I CAN CERTAINLY SHIP IT "TOMORROW". I AM ADDING NEW ITEMS DAILY AND OFFER DISCOUNT PRICES ON ITEMS AS FABRICS ARE DISCONTINUED. I'M ALWAYS HAPPY TO CREATE CUSTOM ORDERS."

Betty sent me this cute little owl to review.  It was so easy to do! I just put a damp cloth on the top and held the iron on it for a while, then ironed the back of the shirt until the shirt was dry:

Simple!

And cute too.
