Silver and Gold

This year I decided to stick with white, silver, and gold for my Christmas decorations.  I wish I had more white...maybe next year.  

This was our first year with a real tree...the house smelled so good...

Don''t mind the lights that fell off the bottom branch...

My new Scentsy smells pretty good too...

I just LOVE this time of year!

Wall Art Design Giveaway

This wall decal shop on Etsy has many whimsical, light & pretty decals for your home with many being for children's rooms and nurseries.  I love that about it, and I especially love all of the cute owls.  Take a look at some of the designs:

Jenny sent me these cute owls on branches to review:

I knew just where I wanted to put them in Allie's room; on the wall right above her bed.  I always fill my walls with pictures and it gets looking cluttered easily, but I hate having bare walls.  I love that decals are another simple option to fill bare walls, but make such a huge statement.

Here are the results:

(The lighting in Allie's room is so bad, so please don't judge my pics :)

I love that you can use the decals in your own way.  I wanted to incorporate them all over her room so I put at least one decal on each wall with the main picture on the wall above her bed.  This literally only took me maybe an hour and it was SO easy to do.  The hardest part was deciding where to put everything (which, if you just follow the original pattern wouldn't be hard at all)

Christmas is Here
