Master Bath Before and After

So, I have to say first of all that my bathroom is nothing special, but I did want to share the changes I made in every room of our new home, so I am sharing it anyway.

The main change we made was painting the vanity white.  We also painted the walls the same tan as the master bedroom.  Lastly, I added new hardware to the cabinet and also new towel and tp holders.

I only have a few small accessories because I love having a lot of counter space and uncluttered bathroom- its just so much more relaxing.

A few mismatched candles for baths and I can completely relax in here.

Thanks for sharing Jess! We're thinking of doing some cabinet repainting as well. Did you DYI?

Painting the cabinets white really brightened up the room! I think it looks so serene and beautiful now!

We DID paint the cabinets ourselves. We used a foam roller from Home Depot to make sure it went on really smooth and used the best primer we could buy. It was pretty easy.

A little bit of white can sure go a long way! Your update looks great! And I completely agree about liking a free counter!

They may have been small changes but I think they made a huge difference in how dated it looks. It doesnt look 80s anymore. Its really pretty!

It is amazing with tender loving care, hard work and paint can do to things. Loved the changes. Even if you just change the hardware it helps. I have done that.

Do you still remember everything you used in painting the vanity white ?

I do! I used Kilz primer and then Behr Bright White paint+primer in semi-gloss. I used a brush to get the nooks and crannies and a roller for the rest of it.
