Happy Memorial Day - Cap Creations Giveaway!
Happy Memorial Day! How about a fun jewelry giveaway to celebrate?
A couple weeks ago I was given the chance to review a piece of jewelry from Cap Creations. They make personalized, hand-stamped jewelry for everyone in your family.
"We strive to make our quality products meaningful, personal, and unique because they are centered around your personality and what you value most. Each person in the family can enjoy our creations whether they are sweet and dainty, sporty, or masculine!"
They also help raise money for families trying to adopt children. They have everything from necklaces to key chains and many are sterling silver. Not only are their pieces original and personal, they are also very affordable.
I chose to review the stamped ring. I have been wanting a simple band with my children's names and birth dates on each one, so I finally got one for Allie. I wanted to wear it on my right hand pointer finger, so I had to measure really carefully, but their sizes are right on and it fits perfect.
Cap Creations has offered one lucky reader a $40 gift certificate to their shop!
To enter please take a look at their site and leave a comment on the item you love.
For extra entries:
Follow/Subscribe to my blog or their blog (1 entry each)

Share this giveaway on facebook/your blog/twitter (5 entries each)
Leave a comment for each entry. Good luck!

Coupons Are Awesome
So, my newest addiction lately has been online shopping. Seriously so nice for moms - no dragging your kids around the store and you can take all the time you need. So, when I discovered that there are millions of coupon codes out there at any given time for a number of these sites, I was very excited.
One that I had been using for a while was retailmenot.com. But, I have just recently come upon a new one. It is CouponChief.com and it is so handy and easy to use.
As you can see, their page is simple and organized. To the right there are popular tags you can browse by, or you can simply do a search for whatever it is you are looking for right at the top center of the page.
The featured stores are next on the main page, and all you have to do is click on "all stores" to see many more.
There are the most popular coupons right on the main page you pull up, and you can scroll down to browse those. Where the code is, you can simply click on it to copy and paste it to the site it applies to.
You can also sign up for an account to submit your own coupons and get updates through email.
Go check out the site and let me know if you score any great online deals!

Love Where You Are
When I saw this picture it got me thinking about being a kid, looking forward to the day I finally found my prince charming, got married, and lived happily ever after. And how there are some days as an adult I wish I could be as careless as I was when I was a kid.
But I really want to just enjoy the day I am in right now. No regrets and no waiting around for the place I really want to be in. My new year's resolution was to just love where I am right now and enjoy the years I will soon be looking back on. How do you do this in your own life?

Excuses Excuses
Sorry I have been MIA a little bit the last couple weeks. We had a very fun trip to the Florida Keys and then I have been on vacation mode since we've been back and I don't feel like doing anything. Anyway, here are some pics from the trip to prove that I really do have an excuse, and hopefully I will snap out of this vacation mode sooner than later :)
Most of the trip was spent on our little beach by our hotel. We stayed at the Hampton in Key Largo. It was perfect for us and the breakfast wasn't too bad either :)
Allie loved playing in the sand and water on the beaches out there.
It was so relaxing to watch the sunset every night while Allie played.
One day we were there we went to "Theater of the Sea" which was a little tiny Sea World with dolphins, sea lions, sea turtles, and even a shark and crocodile. They had shows going on all day and we got to see the Dolphin, Sea Lion, and Parrot show.
Allie was exhausted after that day, especially because she had come down with a cough and runny nose. Luckily, it only lasted a couple days.
We had to go to the Bahia Honda State Park on the way down to Key West, since it was voted best beach in the 90's. It was a pretty beach, but I wouldn't say it was the best :)
I couldn't believe Allie actually picked up this dead crab and was happy about it!
This was our view while driving from key to key. Water on both sides.
We stopped at a beach on Key West after some sightseeing, then had lunch.
Allie was so good in the car and on the airplane to and from Florida!
I may be posting some more pics when I finish editing the rest.
PS
Here is my real excuse for not blogging much lately:
Yep. That's my baby :) Due end of November. We can hardly wait :)
Novica Review and Giveaway!
Have any of you heard of Novica? It is a website in association with National Geographic that sells handcrafted unique gifts from artisians from all over the world. They have everything from Home Decor to handmade jewelry and every piece is one-of-a-kind with a story behind it.
I received this gorgeous pillowcase to review and giveaway:
"Red, blue, pink, purple and orange… flowers bloom in bright, bold colors. Embroidered by hand in vibrant hues, the images grace a cushion cover by Nicolas Ajanel. The background is handloomed cotton, and the reverse side of the cover is black."
How fun would this be as a summer accent pillow that is a great conversational piece?
I thought of this picture when I saw this pillowcase:
Aren't bright, colorful pillows so fun?!
Alright, so here's how you enter the giveaway:
Visit Novica.com and let me know what else you love on their site.
For extra entries (leave a comment for each):

Stupid Blogger
So, I am totally annoyed with Blogger right now...partly because of the commercial Google just came out with and also because of this post that apparently disappeared after I had posted it for no apparent reason. I know that it posted and that people saw it, but now I can't find it anywhere.
Anyway, now I have to draw a new winner for the Nomad Footwear giveaway.
I know you are all so upset, right? :)
Okay, first here is a super cute picture to cheer me up:
And now, a new winner for the Nomad Footwear Giveaway:

Dream House: Outdoors
Trey and I can't wait to be homeowners just to have a backyard for our kids to play in and to do some yard work. I would also love to have a pretty patio or porch to relax on. Any of these would do :)
