Well, I know that summer is movie season, but ever since we've had Allie we don't really see movies until they come out on video. We love to watch movies, of course, but I have a picky husband...I am a big romantic comedy fan, but also love action in a movie...especially if the actor is hot :) I was thinking about my favorite movies of all time, and it is a little embarrassing, but I thought I would share anyway.
I used to have a big crush on Richard Gere so First Knight is my fave from way back when...
...and also Runaway Bride.
How to Lose a Guy is probably my all-time favorite, regardless of the cheesiness...
And Elf will always be my favorite Christmas movie.
I saw Mr. and Mrs. Smith with Trey the second week we started dating, so it always brings back fun memories. I can watch this movie over and over and not get sick of it.
I think that Avatar is my new favorite recent movie (even though I can't stand all the save-the-earth propaganda) I guess I will see if it stands the test of time...
Anyone seen any good movies lately?

The Oregon Coast
I thought I would share a few pics from our Oregon Coast trip...it was such a perfect vacation. Thanks to everyone for their recommendations - my readers pretty much planned my trip for me!
Driving on the coast:
The view from our room in Lincoln City at the Sandcastle Motel:
Second day there we went down to Newport:
Ate "brunch" here:
Mo's world famous clam chowder:
Last sunset of the trip:
The morning we left it was a little overcast:
Our deck view:
We definitely want to do this again...hopefully next summer :)

It's Sad...
...that this is what my closet looks like when it is clean...
Maybe I'll figure out a better system in our new apartment...
Do any of you have closet organization tricks or tips?

New Fall Trend: Bows on Shoes
I am not a big "bow person," but I thought that these were pretty. I have all sorts of ideas in my head of revamping some of my shoes with bows...

Monday Funny
Let me introduce you to my brother:
He makes me laugh. I get to spend lots of time with him while I'm here with my family; which means lots of laughing :)

Sodastream Giveaway!
As you have heard, Favorite Things Friday will be postponed until mid September. However, the most recent FTF linky will be running until then, so you can continue linking to that until the next one.
I thought, in the place of FTF this weekend I would set up a giveaway to run while I am vacationing!
I was so lucky to, about a month ago, receive my own Sodastream start-up kit to review. I am a soda lover myself, so I was pretty excited about it.
When I got the package in the mail I opened it right away and couldn't wait to try it. I was bad and didn't read the directions (like always) but it was really easy to use and I figured it out right away. Besides it being so user-friendly, here are some other reasons I love it:
1. You don't have to lug heavy soda containers from the grocery store.
2. You also don't have to think ahead and refrigerate your soda hours before it's ready to drink.
3. The cost is slightly cheaper than if you were to buy your soda on sale, and much cheaper if you buy your soda full price.
4. There are SO many soda flavors and they are all yummy and refreshing!
5. Their regular sodas (not diet) have only about 30-40 calories per 8 oz. serving!
6. You can control how carbonated your sodas are.
7. The 1 liters are a great size for 1-2 days of use.
8. You can buy the flavors and get more carbon at local Sodastream/carbonator bottle vendors (there are actually quite a few and 2 that are about a mile from my house) if you don't want to order online.
There is only really one thing I would change about Sodastream and that is I would make the flavors more pourable (the caps are exactly like laundry detergent so they get a little messy.)
Sodastream has offered one of my lucky readers their own Fountain Jet Soda Lover's Start-up Kit! (approximately $100 retail value) This includes the Fountain Jet, enough CO2 to make over 100 liters of soda, 2 reusable carbonating bottles, a sample pack of flavors, and 3 full-sized flavors of the winner's choice!
To enter you can do any of the following:
1. Follow me
2. Share what your favorite soda flavor is
3. Visit my photography blog
4. Become a facebook fan and/or blog follower of Jessica Hills Photography
Make sure you leave a comment for each thing you do! Thanks and good luck!

Cool Cameras
Have you noticed any of these artsy photos lately? They seem to be making a comeback...
They are shot by old-fashioned cameras. One of those kinds of cameras is the Diana F+. I want one...
Another is called Holga. They might be coming out with a Holga Digital camera...how cool would that be?
You can read about it here.
