Happy Cinco De Mayo!

Fact:

Cinco De Mayo commemorates the Mexican army's unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of  Puebla on May 5, 1862

Fact:

While Cinco de Mayo has limited significance nationwide in Mexico, the date is observed in the United States (voluntarily) and other locations around the world as a celebration of Mexican heritage and pride.

I was trying to sound like Dwight Schrute from The Office in case you were wondering...

Also,
I love Mexican food.

Wouldn't it be fun to have a Cinco De Mayo party like this someday?

This one is obviously a wedding, but still...

Allie and I are off to visit my sister and her husband tonight and have a mini party ourselves.  Go enter to win the Felt Eyeglasses Case if you haven't already (winner will be announced Friday) And, come back Saturday for another GIVEAWAY!

I love this post. As I was reading it I was putting a lot of emphasis on FACT like Dwight would. I was wondering if you were doing it on purpose. Then of course I got a good giggle because you were. LOVE the office!

Thanks for the smile!

I would love to have a Cinco e Mayo party like that! My niece was supposed to be born today, so I was excited that we could throw her a Mexican Feista every year, but I think she probably won't come until tomorrow! But now I can celebrate!
