Well, there are still quite a few things I plan on doing in here- mostly adding the bedside lamps to the wall and then decorating those tables and tying it all together. But, for now I thought I would share what I have done.

Living Room Redo- Board and Batten DIY
So for my birthday this year I requested a little spruce up of the living room/kitchen where I spend most of my time and where there are some things we have been wanting to change and add since we have been living here. We did board and batten in the living room then decided to use the leftover pieces and get some more to do the bathrooms while we were at it. It made such a huge difference and after doing that I changed out a few accessories and felt like I had a whole new house! I also touched up the white paint in my whole house (baseboards, cabinets, dresser, etc) so that made a huge difference too. I was able to complete the whole house revamp for under $700- here is the breakdown:

Master Bath Before and After
So, I have to say first of all that my bathroom is nothing special, but I did want to share the changes I made in every room of our new home, so I am sharing it anyway.
The main change we made was painting the vanity white. We also painted the walls the same tan as the master bedroom. Lastly, I added new hardware to the cabinet and also new towel and tp holders.

Bathrooms
I had a comment last post that one of you wanted to see some ideas for bathroom redos. I haven't completely finished my kids' bathroom yet, but I think the master bath is done and I really want to share it with you! For now, here are some bathrooms that were my inspiration- my bathroom will be on the blog next week- I promise!

Dream House: Bathrooms
I am not too particular about the bathrooms in my dream home...I really love marble counter-tops and marble showers, etc..but I wouldn't be opposed to other materials as long as they look nice, are easy to clean, and last a long time.
I love the colors and contrast in this first photo but that is about it. I love wicker, of course, so this next pic would be something I would do in my dream home:
I would love to have a spacious master bathroom of course, and I love having a tub and shower separate. I love the bath in this one:

I like the mirror in this one and pedestal sinks have always been top on my list, but I am not a fan of those random lights and that wallpaper. That magazine/book holder is pretty cool, and so is the toilet:
This is probably my favorite bathroom of them all though. Simple, yet a little fancy with the marble and stone tub. I would also LOVE to have windows with a view next to my tub.
I love how cozy this next bathroom looks with the bathmat and the chair:

I love the modern look of this one:

Oh, also, one of these showerheads in my separate shower is a must:
