Oh my. That reminded me of the pink dotted swiss dress my mom made for prom in 1966. I had seen a picture of one in a teen magazine and it was around $80 which was a lot for a prom dress in the 1960's. It was a strapless with a ruffle around the top and down the front. It was a wrap style. We went to the store and found a similar pattern and she made it for me. I was the hit of the prom. Thanks for sharing. It brought back memories.
